=== Production and Later Work === In 2000, Witherspoon founded Type A Films, which later merged into Pacific Standard in 2012. In 2016, she co-founded Hello Sunshine, a media company dedicated to female-centered storytelling. Under Hello Sunshine, she launched Reese's Book Club in 2017, which selects books with women at the center and has turned many picks into successful adaptations. Notable productions include Big Little Lies (for which she won a Primetime Emmy as producer), Little Fires Everywhere, Daisy Jones & The Six, and The Morning Show, in which she also stars. In 2021, a majority stake in Hello Sunshine was sold to Candle Media in a deal valued at approximately $900 million, with Witherspoon retaining involvement. She has continued producing projects like the 2025 romantic comedy You're Cordially Invited and has expanded into authorship, co-writing the 2025 novel Gone Before Goodbye with Harlan Coben.
